We are Lutherans:

• We believe that God the Father is our Creator, Jesus Christ is our Savior, and the Holy Spirit is our Sanctifier bringing us to newness of life.

• We accept the Holy Scriptures as the divinely inspired Word of God and message of God's redemptive act in Christ.

• We teach that all people are sinners and that a person is saved only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

• We define the Church as the fellowship of those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and savior.  The church is essential to Christian life and growth.

• We celebrate two Sacraments as the God-given means for showering our lives with His grace.  They are Baptism and Holy Communion.

• We live, not according to a formula of do's and don'ts but in the freedom of Christian love and responsibility. 

• As you come to the table of Holy Communion at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, you join in worship clearly centered on the celebration of Word and Sacrament.

• We celebrate this "means of grace" each time we gather, through a pattern which incorporates confessions and forgiveness, public scripture reading, sung liturgy, hymns and songs, proclamation of God's word, and the observance of Holy Communion. 

• Guiding the worship experience is a yearly lectionary of scripture readings and the liturgical year cycle.
