Membership
at
Holy
Trinity
Lutheran
Church
is a
dynamic
growth
tool
that encourages
everyone to
become
a
fully
devoted
follower
of
Christ. As
a
church,
we
are
a
community
made
up
of
visitors,
regular
attendees
and
participating
members.

When
regular
attendees
decide
they'd
like
to
become
committed
participants
in
the
vibrant
life
of
the
church,
they
consider
becoming
an
active
and
participating
member.
Membership
Classes
are
offered
twice
each
year
(Spring
&
Fall)
held
during
the
Sunday
School
hour
(9:45am
-
10:45am).
This
series
of
three
classes
include
an
overview
/
review
of
the
Lutheran
faith,
as
well
as
information
about
the
many
programs
and
ministries
offered.
You
will
also
have
an
opportunity
at
this
time
to
meet
the
staff
as
well
as
our
lay
leaders.
After
completing
the
Membership
Class
an
adult

will
be
scheduled.

Why
Membership?
1
Corinthians
12:12-31
The
church
is
the
global
body
of
Christ.
Consisting
of
believers
from
every
corner
of
the
glove,
demonstrated
in
local
congregations.
Church
membership
is a
way
of
identifying
oneself
with
a
local
body
of
believers
and
of
making
oneself
accountable
to
proper
spiritual
leadership.
Being
a
church
member
means
that
you
become
committed
to
one
of
these
local
expressions
of
Christ's
body.
Joining
as
members
enables
us
to
grow
and
become
spiritually
mature
in
Christ.

•
What
are
Lutheran
beliefs?
We
believe
that
God
the
Father
is
our
Creator,
Jesus
Christ
is
our
Savior,
and
the
Holy
Spirit
is
our
Sanctifier
bringing
us
to
newness
of
life.
We
accept
the
Holy
Scriptures
as
the
divinely
inspired
Word
of
God
and
message
of
God's
redemptive
act
in
Christ.
We
teach
that
all
people
are
sinners
and
that
a
person
is
saved
only
by
the
grace
of
God
through
faith
in
Jesus
Christ.
We
define
the
Church
as
the
fellowship
of
those
who
confess
Jesus
Christ
as
Lord
and
savior.
The
church
is
essential
to
Christian
life
and
growth.
We
celebrate
two
Sacraments
as
the
God-given
means
for
showering
our
lives
with
His
grace.
They
are
Baptism
and
Holy
Communion.
We
live,
not
according
to a
formula
of
do's
and
don'ts
but
in
the
freedom
of
Christian
love
and
responsibility.
