The purpose of Missions at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Marietta is to train and equip ordinary people to go and do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus so that all might see, hear and experience God’s love in tangible ways.

Lighthouse Family Retreat - Families Serving Families - https://www.lighthousefamilyretreat.org

Lighthouse Family Retreat strengthens families living through childhood cancer by creating environments on seaside retreats to help them rest, restore relationships, experience joy and find hope in God.  Lighthouse holds 21 week long retreats along the Florida panhandle and Outer Banks of NC serving around 250 families currently going through treatment for childhood cancer.

We need around 100 volunteers, on each retreat to be the hands and feet of Christ, serving 12-14 families by doing their laundry, preparing and serving meals, playing with the kids while parents meet as a group, and many more things to give these families a great week away at the beach.
